Freud Cigar Adds Belicoso To SuperEgo Line
Freud Cigar Co. is expanding its regular-production SuperEgo line with a new Belicoso. The cigar began shipping to retailers yesterday.
Measuring 6 inches by 52 ring gauge, the Belicoso brings the SuperEgo line to four sizes. There was a fifth size called Magnum, a 6-by-60 grande, but production of the thick cigar is currently on hiatus and will return this spring. Shipping in 10-count boxes, the Belicoso has a suggested retail price of $19.50 each or $195 per box, before taxes.
Covered in an Ecuadoran Piloto Cubano and Criollo ’98 tobacco. There’s a bit of Nicaraguan leaf from Jalapa in the filler as well.
SuperEgo is produced at the Tabacalera William Ventura factory in the Dominican Republic.
