Freud Cigar Co. To Launch Sigmund: Chapter One-The Disruptor

Are you a Freudian or more of a Jungian when it comes to cigars? Regardless of your preferred psychological theory, Freud Cigar Co. is releasing the first part in a limited-edition series called Sigmund: Chapter One-The Disruptor, made to commemorate the May 6 birthday of the famed father of psychoanalysis.
The cigar comes in one size, a double corona that measures 7 1/2 inches long by 50 ring gauge, and is made in the Dominican Republic by Eladio Diaz at his Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera factory. Other than saying that the cigar contains “seven distinct tobaccos” and “five different fillers” the company isn’t disclosing any details about the blend.
The Disruptor will have a production run of only 3,500 boxes of 10. Each cigar is slated to retail for $42, before taxes. It’s being released at a launch party on May 3 in Connecticut at the Tobacconist of Greenwich, where both Diaz and company co-founder Luis Torres will be in attendance.
