Quesada 50th Anniversary Shipping Today

Dominican cigarmaker Quesada Cigars celebrates its golden jubilee this year with a pair of limited-edition cigars called Quesada 50th Anniversary, which have begun shipping to U.S. retailers today.
Quesada 50th Anniversary comes in two sizes: Toro Prensado, measuring 6 1/4 inches by 56 ring gauge ($17); and a 6-by-60 Perfecto ($19). Made in the Dominican Republic, the cigar consists of an Ecuador Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and a mix of Dominican and Peruvian filler. Both are packaged in boxes of 10.
Production is limited to 2,200 boxes of the Toro Prensado and 200 boxes of the Perfecto. Two commemorative humidors have also been created, one of which was auctioned off at the Quesada family.
Europe and China are expected to receive the cigars next month.
